Shell structure of foam equipment

  • The structure of foam equipment should ensure the establishment of enough high turbulence foam suspension layer, and at the same time, make the flow resistance as low as possible, achieve high efficiency. The height and turbulence of the foam layer affect the operation intensity of the equipment, that is to say, the handling capacity of the unit volume equipment. The flow resistance affects the energy consumed in operation.
    The foam equipment has two kinds of veneers and multi boards. For the foam equipment for dust removal, the veneer is enough, so here we only introduce the single board foam dust removal equipment, and its dust removal efficiency can reach 99%.
    The shell structure single board foam dedusting equipment is a rectangular or circular section container (shell), which is separated by a horizontal sieve plate. The shape of the bottom plate depends on the technological requirements. When used as a dust collector, the lower part of the sieve plate is made into a conical or conical funnel.
    The circular section can ensure more uniform gas distribution than the rectangular section, and the shell has better pressure bearing capacity under pressure or negative pressure, while the rectangular section can ensure more uniform distribution of liquid along the sieve plate. For the foam equipment for dust removal, because the gas volume is much larger than the liquid volume and is generally operated under atmospheric pressure, the use of rectangular cross-section is more advantageous.
    The maximum section size of the equipment depends on the possibility of uniform gas distribution. For the single plate equipment, the most suitable length along the liquid flow direction is 1.5 ~ 2.0m, not more than 2.5m. For the equipment with large size, it is best to use the double flow sieve plate with liquid introduced or discharged from the middle of the sieve plate. If the gas processing capacity is large, the equipment section is also large. At this time, the gas distribution device before the gas enters the sieve plate should be considered.
    The tower section can be calculated from the air velocity of the empty tower. It is pointed out that the air velocity of the empty tower is appropriate in the range of 1 ~ 3m / s, so what value should be taken in the design? That depends on the specific conditions of gas treatment.
