  • The quality of foam packaging products is good or bad. But what are the factors that determine the quality of the foam packaging? Can we control it? Then, let's look at the influence of the pores on the quality of the foam packaging products.

The ideal pore size distribution of foam packaging products is narrower and better. That is to say, the pore size of the pores should be as uniform as possible, and the difference should not be too large. The corresponding requirement is that bubbles should be homogeneous and not uniform in size. Emulsion foam can not be used. The foam appearance that meets the technical requirements should be sponge shaped fine vesicles, piled up like white clouds and cotton like shells, and will not flow in disorder. The moisture content of this foam is very small. This indicates that the foam liquid membrane has little bleeding, and the foam is not easy to crack. The bubble diameter of the foam can not be exactly the same, but it should be basically similar. The bubble diameter is as small as possible. The difference between the maximum bubble diameter and the minimum bubble diameter is not too large. It has been stated in the past that the pores formed by the foam are uniform, so that the compressive stress can be concentrated at the big foams and reduce the compressive strength. If the foam size is uneven, the stress will be concentrated in the bullae, which is very easy to cause this to become a weak link and crack first when bearing pressure. The requirements for pore diameter and bubble diameter shall be the same.
